Onco360 Pharmacy is seeking an Oncology Concierge Technician to join our Buffalo, NY team. This full-time role supports dispensing specialty medications, resolves patient and provider inquiries, and ensures regulatory compliance.

Remote work is available, with a schedule that fits a Monday-Friday pattern and competitive hourly pay starting at $21.00. The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of pharmacy experience, strong communication skills, and state licensure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of pharmacy experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Pharmacy terminology knowledge and basic math.
• State license/registration required; national certification may be required.
• CPhT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-call resolution for patient and provider inquiries; triage calls to appropriate departments.
• Coordinate medication deliveries and collect co-pays; inbound calls handled with first-call resolution practices.
• Understand Manufacturer programs and Concierge Services; verify label status and HUB enrollment opportunities.
• Perform duties as assigned by Sr Mgr, Ops Processes & Concierge Service for manufacturer relationships; assist as needed.
• Contribute to compliance with state/federal pharmacy laws and REMS programs.
• Support pharmacy operations by aiding dispensing of specialty medications and addressing inquiries.

What You'll Do

The Oncology Concierge Technician supports pharmacists and pharmacy operations by assisting with dispensing specialty medications, resolving patient and provider inquiries, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and manufacturer programs.

How You'll Do This

• Provide first-call resolution for patient and provider inquiries, triage calls to appropriate departments
• Phone support- Coordinate medication deliveries and collect co-payments. Inbound calls should be handled using first call resolution customer service practices.
• Understand unique attributes and business rules specific to Manufacturer programs that participate with Concierge Services
• Perform duties as assigned by Sr Mgr, Ops Processes & Concierge Service specific to needs of manufacturer relationship. This could include but not limited to: verifying on label status, offering HUB enrollment opportunities, researching pending patients for updates
• Performs activities related to the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal laws and REMS programs.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed and other duties as assigned

What You Bring

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of pharmacy experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities
• Pharmacy or healthcare-related knowledge, knowledge of pharmacy terminology including sig codes, and Roman numerals, brand/generic names of medication, basic math and analytical skills, Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills.
• Pharmacy Technician State License/Registration (per State Board of Pharmacy).
• Certain States also require National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT via PTCB/NHA).

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB)
• 3+ years pharmacy experience
• Specialty pharmacy experience
