Onco360 Pharmacy is hiring an Oncology Concierge Technician to support pharmacists and operations in Waltham, MA. This full-time role includes handling patient inquiries, facilitating deliveries, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer programs.

The position offers a remote work option and a schedule with daytime hours. A strong pharmacy background, license/registration, and excellent communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of pharmacy experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Technician State License/Registration (per State Board of Pharmacy).
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Pharmacy terminology knowledge including sig codes, Roman numerals, brand/generic names, and basic math.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

The Oncology Concierge Technician supports pharmacists and pharmacy operations by assisting with dispensing specialty medications, resolving patient and provider inquiries, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and manufacturer programs.

How You'll Do This

• Provide first-call resolution for patient and provider inquiries, triage calls to appropriate departments
• Phone support- Coordinate medication deliveries and collect co-payments. Inbound calls should be handled using first call resolution customer service practices.
• Understand unique attributes and business rules specific to Manufacturer programs that participate with Concierge Services
• Perform duties as assigned by Sr Mgr, Ops Processes & Concierge Service specific to needs of manufacturer relationship. This could include but not limited to: verifying on label status, offering HUB enrollment opportunities, researching pending patients for updates
• Performs activities related to the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal laws and REMS programs.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed and other duties as assigned

What You Bring

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of pharmacy experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities
• Pharmacy or healthcare-related knowledge, knowledge of pharmacy terminology including sig codes, and Roman numerals, brand/generic names of medication, basic math and analytical skills, Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills.
• Pharmacy Technician State License/Registration (per State Board of Pharmacy)
• Certain States also require National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT via PTCB/NHA)

• 3+ years pharmacy experience
