Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Coordinator for Inpatient Oncology/BMT/Leukemia in Neptune, NJ. This RN leader will guide care delivery, support advanced practice, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure evidence-based standards of care.

The role requires an MSN and oncology BMT/Leukemia nursing experience, NJ RN license, and BLS. ACLS and national certification are preferred. Full-time, day shift, at Hackensack Meridian Health.

Qualifications

• Oncology BMT/Leukemia nursing experience required
• Current and valid RN License in the State of New Jersey required
• BLS/CPR Certified by American Heart Association required
• ACLS preferred
• National certification in area of clinical practice preferred

Responsibilities

• Motivate self and others to deliver patient care aligned with the organization's mission and values.
• Facilitate an interdisciplinary approach to achieve positive patient outcomes and advocate for patients in BMT and Leukemia care.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise and utilize advanced assessment skills to propose interventions based on evidence-based research.
• Provide support and act as a clinical resource for staff while monitoring clinical practice for compliance.
• Develop culturally appropriate health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
• Coordinate the development of evidence-based practice protocols and standards of care.
• Analyze patterns of variance in practice and recommend evidence-based changes to improve patient outcomes.
• Identify educational needs of patients, families, and staff, and collaborate to develop teaching materials.
• Assess educational needs and implement teaching strategies for patients, families, and staff.
• Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff and multidisciplinary team members to evaluate complex patients.

Education

MSN or Master's Degree in a health-related field
