Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 0.6 FTE (24 hours/week) role on an interdisciplinary care team. You will conduct nursing assessments, plan and implement care, educate patients and families, and coordinate with other clinicians to ensure high-quality care.

Oncology experience is preferred; WA RN license and BLS are required. The position offers collaboration across care teams, ongoing documentation, and participation in quality improvement initiatives,

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have WA State RN license or MSL; and MSL must have WA as residence within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs; develop and adjust plan of care.
• Educate patients and families on disease, treatment, side effects, and symptom management.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Refer to social work, home health care, nutrition, and other resources as needed.
• Implement, evaluate, and modify plan of care; integrate research into clinical practice.
