Job summary

American Oncology Partners, PA is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our oncology team in a patient-centered role. You will assist physicians in care, write prescriptions, and help manage patients through treatment and trials.

The position requires at least 5 years in oncology, a state APRN/PA license with prescriptive privileges, and strong documentation skills. A sign-on bonus is offered and typical hours are weekdays with potential on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with a Master’s degree.
• APRN or PA license in the appropriate state with prescriptive privileges.
• Minimum 5 years’ oncology experience with strong patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical and psychosocial status via interview, history, and exams.
• Write prescriptions for meds and blood products per protocols.
• Assist in determining eligibility for clinical trials.
• Participate in rounds, triage, and on-call coverage as needed.
• Document care accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance.
