Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Master's degree required.
• APRN or PA license in appropriate state.
• Prescriptive privileges or eligible to apply.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical and psychosocial status of patients by interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic studies.
• Write prescriptions for medications and blood products per protocols and lab results.
• Determine eligibility of patients for entry into clinical trials based on findings.
• Interpret and evaluate study/test results and relay information to collaborating physicians.
• Provide on-call coverage, hospital rounds, and participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds.
