Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience in a medical office environment required.
• Must be able to multi-task and maintain patient care quality.
• Must communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for patients to see physician, extender, labs, scans, etc.
• Confirm patient appointments.
• Maintain office schedules for the physicians and extenders.
• Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff.
• Receive and route messages and documents as needed.
• Greet patients, ascertain purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate staff.
• Operate office equipment and software as needed.
• Perform various clerical and administrative functions as needed.
• Transmit information or documents as needed.
