Job summary

Texas Oncology San Antonio is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider II to join the Medical Oncology/Hematology team in Stone Oak, 18707 Hardy Oak, San Antonio, TX. This full-time position runs 8:30a-5:00p, Monday through Friday, and supports outpatient/inpatient oncology care.

The APP delivers direct diagnostic and therapeutic care in collaboration with physicians, participates in tumor boards, and benefits from professional development support including LTIP eligibility and a CME budget.

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold an advanced practice credential with current licensure.
• MSN or equivalent degree required for NP path.
• National certification and BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care in collaboration with physicians.
• Document visits, educate patients and families, review diagnostics, and manage symptoms.
• Collaborate with the care team and refer to specialists as needed.
• Participate in tumor board and clinical education activities.
