Job summary

Texas Oncology San Antonio is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Medical Oncology team in Boerne, TX. This full-time role supports the outpatient and inpatient cancer care, with hours 8:30a-5:00p, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

MSN in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner program completed.
RN licensure and NP licensure in practicing state; BLS/CPR certified.
NCCPA certification or Clinical Nurse Specialist pathway completed.

Responsibilities

Direct care and management in outpatient/inpatient/surgical settings with documentation, education, orders, and prescriptions.
Interdependent practice with collaborating physicians and team.
Proficient use of Electronic Health Record and documented care per policy.
Build collaborative relationships across the organization and local medical community.
Perform diagnostic/therapeutic procedures as appropriate.
Participate in tumor board, trainings, and meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
