Job summary

Texas Oncology San Antonio is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Medical Oncology team. This full-time role at 124 E Bandrea Rd, Boerne, TX 78006 supports a dynamic oncology clinic with hours 8:30a-5:00p, Monday through Friday.

The APP team collaborates with physicians to deliver high-quality, evidence-based cancer care. Experience in oncology settings is valued; multiple pathways for Nurse Practitioner, PA, or CNS tracks, with opportunities for professional growth and LTIP

Qualifications

MSN from accredited nursing school with successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
RN state licensure and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state; NP license and BLS/CPR certification.
For PA path: NCCPA certification and PA license in practicing state; BLS/CPR.
For CNS path: CNS certification and MSN with CNS program.

Responsibilities

Direct care and management in outpatient/inpatient/surgical settings with documentation, education, orders, diagnostics, medication prescriptions, symptom management, and staff training.
Collaborative practice with physicians and interdependent team.
Proficient use of Electronic Health Records and adherence to policy guidelines.
Build cross-organization relationships and participate in tumor board, trainings, and meetings.
Perform diagnostic/therapeutic procedures as appropriate.
