Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Oncology Ambulatory on a registry/per diem basis in Sun City West, AZ. The role involves collaborating with physicians to create and execute treatment plans, with schedule options every Wednesday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and flexibility to work 3–4 days weekly.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Experience in acute care hospital or related setting desired.
• Completion of post-offer occupational health physical, drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and educational needs and plan care.
• Formulate a care plan including discharge planning with input from patient and family.
• Implement the plan through direct patient care and coordination with the health care team.
• Evaluate patient progress and revise the plan as needed in collaboration with the team.
• Document assessments, plans, care provided, and patient responses clearly in the medical record.
• Contribute to quality care with evidence-based practices and share knowledge with staff.
