Job summary

Banner Staffing Services (BSS) seeks a registered nurse for outpatient infusion oncology per diem assignments in Mesa, AZ. The role supports a team of oncology clinicians by providing direct patient care during daytime hours, with flexibility to cover 2–4 days per week.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Experience in acute care settings or infusion oncology preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher preferred.
• Ability to maintain clinical performance competencies and participate in ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social and educational needs and develop a plan of care.
• Provide direct patient care in outpatient oncology infusion settings under physician orders.
• Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team and document care in the patient record.
• supervise and guide other licensed staff as applicable and ensure safety and quality of care.
• Communicate patient status and changes to the care team to support continuity of care.
