Job summary

Aultman Health Foundation in Canton, OH seeks an Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (PA/APRN) to deliver primary cancer care as part of a physician-led team. In this exempt, full-time role you will assess patients, diagnose, treat, prescribe, and educate patients according to cancer care plans.

Requires a Master’s degree, NP/PA certification, current Ohio license with prescriptive authority and CPR, plus at least three years in a clinic setting; one year as an advanced practitioner preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in nursing or related field.
• Advanced practitioner training and certification from an approved NP/PA program.
• Current state license with prescriptive authority.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum three years of clinic experience; one year in advanced practitioner role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient status with history, interview, and exam; evaluates illness and risks.
• Orders/tests and consults with physicians; integrates data for diagnosis and plan.
• Follows cancer care treatment plan; prescribes meds, educates on treatments and side effects.
• Participates in peer reviews, guideline development, and confidentiality compliance.
• Collaborates with physicians to manage acute and long-term needs; triages calls/e-mails.
