Job summary

Aultman Health Foundation is seeking an Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (PA/APRN) to deliver primary and specialty cancer care in a collaborative team setting. The role involves assessing patients, ordering tests, prescribing therapies in accordance with guidelines, and educating patients on treatment plans and potential side effects.

The APRN/PA will work with physicians and the clinical team to ensure comprehensive care, continuity between visits, and adherence to cancer care protocols,

Qualifications

Master’s degree in nursing (required).
Successful completion of advanced practitioner training and certification as an APRN/PA (required).
Current state license as an advanced practitioner with prescriptive authority.
Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

Assess patient status by collecting health history, interviewing, chart reviews, and performing physical examinations.
Order or perform diagnostic tests and coordinate with physicians for evaluation and plan.
Prescribe/dispense medications in line with guidelines and educate patients on treatments and side effects.
Collaborate with clinicians, participate in education, guideline development, and quality assurance activities.
Coordinate ongoing care and triage patient inquiries to ensure continuity of care.
