Job summary

Aultman Health System in Alliance, OH is seeking an experienced Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (PA/APRN) to join our hematology/oncology team. This full-time, day-shift position emphasizes collaborative care and cancer treatment planning.

You will assess patients, order tests, prescribe medications, educate patients and families, and coordinate with physicians and the care team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required and advanced practitioner training and certification from an approved NP/PA program.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in a clinic setting preferred, plus one year of advanced practitioner experience (preferred, but not required).
• Current state license as an advanced practitioner with prescriptive authority. CPR certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patient health through history, exams, and chart reviews.
• Order and interpret labs and screenings; consult with physicians as needed.
• Prescribe and dispense medications per guidelines and state laws; educate patients.
• Educate patients on health promotion, chemotherapy effects, and side effects.
• Document updates to medical records and coordinate with care team.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses in cancer care and triage patient calls.
