Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking an Oncology Account Specialist to engage healthcare professionals through diverse channels, focusing on clinical selling and addressing education needs along the tumor patient journey. You will partner with the Oncology Business Manager to shape account plans and guide conversations with key providers.

You will educate HCPs on product efficacy, safety, dosing, and companion diagnostics, while identifying opportunities to expand access and drive patient care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of demonstrated Sales or Commercial experience within healthcare/pharma settings.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Learn account priorities for tumor types and local clinical practice trends.
• Conduct opportunity assessments and identify multi-disciplinary customers across the patient journey.
• Develop tumor-focused business plans based on insights and engagement plans with key account partners.
• Collaborate with field team to identify cross-brand engagement opportunities.
• Provide input into geography-level priorities and plans.
• Educate healthcare professionals on efficacy, safety, and dosing for FDA-approved indications.
• Educate on approved companion diagnostic tests and importance of patient identification.
