Provide administrative and creative support for the Office of Nationally Competitive Awards ( ONCA ) through weekly coordination of information on student inquiries and communication with students, along with administering promotional events through planning, organizing, assisting with informational communications, and conducting online research on scholarship offerings.
Under the supervision of the Director of the Office of Nationally Competitive Awards, this student worker will provide administrative support with coordinating intake forms, updating records on student contact, scheduling student appointments, administering promotional events through planning, organizing, as well as creating informational communications, including fliers, post on social media accounts and powerpoint presentations for various events, and conducting online research to maintain current information on scholarship offerings.
The student should be enrolled as a degree-seeking student at Winthrop University, be proficient with standard software (e.g Microsoft Office, Adobe products, Google Suite, and CANVA ), comfortable communicating verbally and in writing with others on campus, organized and able to complete multiple tasks.
Strong organizational skills and creative with graphics and text for social media post and flyers.
