Job summary

SBM is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator in Sacramento to manage the new‑hire onboarding process from offer to Day 1/Week 1. You will coordinate background checks, drug screenings, driver approvals, and orientations, while aligning with HR, IT, and management on schedules and equipment delivery.

The role requires 2–3 years in onboarding or HR-related fields, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Strong cross-functional collaboration across HR, IT, and management.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities with high attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or HR preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding from offer through Day 1/Week 1 including background and drug screening.
• Connect with HR, IT, and management to ensure schedule alignment and equipment receipt.
• Monitor onboarding checklists and onboarding plans; escalate delays to supervisor.
