Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Tampa, FL is seeking a PRN Staff Pharmacist to provide on-call and scheduled coverage in a long-term care setting. Hours are variable with some weekend on-call duties.

The role requires active FL Pharmacist licensure, immunization certification, and LTC experience. You will manage workflow, review orders, and ensure compliance with federal and state laws while supporting a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3+ years preferred.
• Must possess a FL State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License.
• Immunization Certification is required.
• Order Entry experience is required.
• Positive personality who can work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Manages the workflow processes including pharmacist verification and labeling/packaging.
• Reviews medication orders and evaluates their appropriateness and completeness.
• Complies with federal and local pharmacy laws as regulated by the State Boards of Pharmacy, the DEA, and the FDA.
• Performs all duties with a friendly, positive, team-oriented approach.
• Maintains required licenses or certifications in good standing.
