Job summary

Centre Technologies is seeking an Onboarding Technical Consultant to independently assess, secure, and prepare client environments for ongoing managed support. You will perform onsite and remote technical discovery, deploy Centre tools, resolve Tier 2 issues, and partner with Project Services and other delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding.

Local travel is frequent and occasional out-of-town travel is required, reflecting the MSP client‑facing role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT support, infrastructure, systems administration, field services, or technical project delivery.
• 2+ years of experience in client environments, MSP, consulting, or multi-client setting.
• Working knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and endpoint management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding assessments of new client environments including endpoints, servers, identities, and networks.
• Validate asset inventories at client sites including hardware make, model, and warranties.
• Collaborate with project services and technical teams to complete onboarding, remediation, migration, and implementation activities.
• Identify and escalate technical issues, risks, blockers, and change-order triggers promptly.
• Troubleshoot Tier 2 issues on Windows endpoints, servers, and identity and networking components.
• Deploy and test onboarding tools and agents using RMM, Group Policy, Intune, and vendor portals.
• Maintain documentation and provide daily progress updates to the Project Manager.
• Assist go-live, validation, and handoff activities and ensure security compliance.
