Job summary

Truist is seeking a Client Onboarding Advisor I to coordinate and lead client implementation efforts for Wholesale Payment services. You will own the overall implementation and client experience, ensuring timely and successful completion while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

The role requires strong communication, relationship management, and project coordination skills, with a focus on delivering a best-in-class client experience and revenue realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent education.
• Three or more years in banking, basic project management, or related industry experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills - proactive and audience-aware.
• Ability to manage and negotiate with clients and vendor/partner relationships.
• Solid interpersonal skills and ability to build networks and relationships.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Adaptability to evolving market demands and internal initiatives.
• In-depth knowledge of standard Wholesale Payments solutions and some complex services.
• Diligent, detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Acts autonomously on most decisions; guidance on complex judgments is required.
• Communicates with clients and colleagues about all implementation aspects.
• Serves as primary liaison between client, internal operations, and implementation cycle.
• Uses internal resources to resolve issues, meet deadlines, and client needs.
• Provides visibility on implementation status to client and deal/coverage team.
• Documents all client interactions in a timely, accurate manner.
• Maintains partnerships with peers and supervisors, with exposure to stakeholders.
• Raises issues, risks, and opportunities to business partners as needed.
• Balances client needs with internal processes and contingencies.
