Technology Lab, LLC in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Client Onboarding Engineer to own the new-client experience from initial assessment through service handover, working in-office on site. You will guide onboarding, capture comprehensive environment documentation, and coordinate with vendors to ensure seamless transitions.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical execution, structured communication, and meticulous end-user training, with travel for on-site client work as needed.

Competenze

• 3+ years in technical support, service desk, or IT project delivery with hands-on capability.
• Working knowledge of SMB or K-12 environments: networking, Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace identity, endpoint management, security basics.
• Practical endpoint and device management experience and the judgment to distinguish a configuration problem from a data problem.
• Strong written and verbal communication; can explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and document for teammates.

Mansioni

• Own each client onboarding end-to-end: welcome call through service handover.
• Set and manage scope expectations with the client from day one.
• Track and upscale external dependencies: vendor approvals, credential handover, provider access.
• Run on-site and remote discovery of the client's environment, pain points, and workflows.
• Build real-time environment documentation: network diagrams, credential records, site detail, process notes.
• Coordinate with outgoing IT providers to ensure continuity and close gaps.
• Extend the initial assessment into day-to-day operations: user provisioning, device lifecycle, roster management, printing, and end-user workflows.
• Deliver the completed assessment and assets to the architecture team for long-term roadmap.
