Job summary

Alliance HCM in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a full-time Onboarding Project Manager to guide clients through the implementation journey from start to ongoing system support. You will independently manage multiple moderate-complexity SaaS implementations, ensuring timely go-lives and clear stakeholder communication.

You will coordinate with sales, training, payroll, tax, and support teams, manage risks, and document decisions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management or implementation experience (ideally in a SaaS, HCM, or payroll environment).
• Ability to independently manage a full project load with minimal supervision.
• Experience with implementation methodology, plan-building, and workstream requirements.
• Strong professional communication for client interactions and meetings.
• Problem-solving skills to resolve issues and remove blockers.
• Ability to navigate scope changes and adjust go-live dates.
• Mentoring teammates and contributing to onboarding process improvements.
• CAPM or PMI credential, or plan to obtain within 18 months.
• Willingness to complete onboarding methodology and client certifications within 6–12 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage the onboarding experience from implementation to ongoing system support.
• Handle a caseload of SaaS implementations with minimal supervision.
• Guide clients through structured onboarding processes and go-live readiness.
• Coordinate with sales, training, payroll, tax, implementation, and support teams to manage risks.
• Maintain detailed project records and support handoff to the customer support team.
• Mentor junior PMs and contribute to onboarding process improvements.
