Job summary

RBC Capital Markets, LLC is seeking an Onboarding Project Manager to oversee the conversion of new advisors and firms onto the RBC Clearing & Custody platform. You will manage a portfolio of onboarding initiatives, coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver a smooth transition from contract sign-off to post-conversion hand-off to client services.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience in financial services with proven project management success.
• Relationship management and interpersonal skills with a client-first mentality.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and prioritize a portfolio of onboarding projects at various stages.
• Collaborate with the firm and all stakeholders to ensure the best client experience from initiation to post-conversion hand-off.
• Serve as the project leader and escalation point for issues within the project.
• Apply project management fundamentals to maintain accountability, scope and schedule.
• Ensure overall project quality including documentation, reporting, and responsiveness.
• Gather, organize, track and report on assumptions, status, dependencies and risks using RAID.
• Collaborate with the business development team to identify client needs and determine conversion timing.
