Job summary

EliseAI in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a People Operations Associate focused on onboarding and new hire experience. You will run end-to-end onboarding, manage pre-employment checks, IT setup, and training material updates, while leveraging automation and AI tools to scale the function.

The role supports broader People ops operations in a fast-growing environment, partnering with IT, Finance, Legal, and other teams to streamline processes and ensure a smooth employee experience from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience in People Operations and onboarding workflows.
• Familiarity with HRIS data entry, I-9 verification, and compliance basics.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to automate and optimize processes using AI tools and workflow platforms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding for new hires, including background checks and I-9 verification.
• Manage start-date tracking and onboarding materials distributed to new hires.
• Update training materials and run live sessions in LMS and in person.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure system access and device setup for new employees.
• Identify opportunities to automate onboarding and scale operations.
