Job summary

Iredell Health System is seeking an HR Onboarding Specialist to streamline onboarding, orientation, and contract staff processes on our team. You will present and maintain an organized workflow for new hires, apprentices, students, and interim staff.

The role also supports payroll tasks, badge creation, orientation classes, and other duties related to caring for our team. This position emphasizes confidentiality and excellent communication within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; prefer Associate degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Experience/knowledge with Human Resources functions.
• One year clerical or administrative experience, including customer service experience.
• Proficiency in the use of personal computers and business software.
• Strong Communication skills both verbal and written to create a positive environment.
• Enjoyment of new tasks and projects along with the autonomy to complete routine processes.
• Understanding of the respect and confidentiality related to serving our team members.

• Lead onboarding and orientation for new team members and contractors.
• Maintain organized processes for onboarding, orientation, and contract staff.
