Job summary

Iredell Health System is seeking an HR Onboarding Specialist to support onboarding, orientation and contract staff. You will present and maintain an organized process for new team members, apprentices, students and interim staff.

You will also assist with payroll tasks, badge creation, orientation classes and other duties related to caring for our team members, while upholding confidentiality and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; prefer at least Associate degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Experience/knowledge with Human Resources functions.
• One year clerical or administrative experience, including customer service experience.
• Proficiency in the use of personal computers and business software.
• Strong Communication skills both verbal and written to create a positive environment.
• Enjoyment of new tasks and projects along with the autonomy to complete routine processes.
• Understanding of the respect and confidentiality related to serving our team members.

Physical Demands

• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
