Job summary

Knowledge Services in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Talent Services Coordinator to support onboarding, compliance, and employee relations for the contingent workforce. You will execute tasks within established workflows and serve as a primary contact for candidates, recruiters, and internal partners.

In a high-volume environment, you will ensure accurate employment documentation, maintain files, assist with first-day logistics and timekeeping, and help keep systems up to date.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in HR, staffing, recruiting, onboarding, or payroll support.
• Foundational understanding of employment laws and onboarding processes.
• Familiarity with HRIS/ATS/timekeeping systems; ADP is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication with a customer service mindset.
• Ability to follow established workflows and escalate issues appropriately.
• Demonstrated professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding by collecting pre-hire documentation, scheduling screenings, and assisting with I-9 verifications.
• Maintain personnel files with accuracy and timely storage.
• Assist with first-day logistics and basic timekeeping setup.
• Operate within platforms and workflows for data entry and processing.
• Escalate system or documentation issues to senior staff.
• Ensure weekly time entry is submitted and data validated.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and elevate complex issues as needed.
• Document and elevate workplace concerns, supporting investigations and compliance.
