Job summary

Sher Contracting LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Coordinator in Central Indiana to help recruit, hire, and onboard skilled professionals for our clients. The role involves guiding candidates through onboarding and ensuring a professional experience from initial contact to hire.

Ideal candidates bring recruiting or HR experience, strong communication, and comfort with ATS and candidate management.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, HR, staffing, or administrative roles.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple openings or requests simultaneously.
• Experience with recruiting platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook, or Gusto.
• Comfortable learning new software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage incoming applications.
• Contact applicants and conduct initial phone screenings.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and clients as needed / requested.
• Maintain candidate records within our applicant tracking system.
• Assist with creating and posting job advertisements.
• Guide candidates through the onboarding process.
• Coordinate background checks, drug screens, and required documentation.
• Communicate regularly with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Help fill positions for Sher Staffing's existing customers.
