Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking an energetic Orientation & Onboarding Coordinator to shape the first days of hundreds of new colleagues. Based in Farmington, you will create welcoming experiences, coordinate orientation sessions, and collaborate with leaders across the system.

You will manage logistics, verify pre-employment requirements, present information to groups, track onboarding metrics, and strive to continuously improve the new colleague experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to five years of experience in HR, onboarding, training, or event coordination.
• Strong proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding new colleague experience and coordinate orientation programs.
• Handle logistics, scheduling, venue setup, food counts, and staffing for sessions.
• Present information to groups and welcome new hires with warmth and clarity.
• Track onboarding metrics and identify opportunities for improvement across the system.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR, and operational leaders to ensure a smooth onboarding journey.
