Pilgrim’s is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator for Live Operations in North Carolina. The role focuses on guiding hourly new hires through a thorough 60‑day introduction, blending HR and Operations support to ensure a smooth start and clear path to operational goals.
The position emphasizes hands-on training on the production floor, collaboration with HR/Operations, and the development of strong working relationships across teams. Industrial environment experience is expected.
Onboarding Coordinators track and support hourly new hires for the first 60 days of employment. This ensures a complete introduction to the facility and their new job which allows the new hire to successfully achieve operational goals. The Onboarding Coordinator is an extension of both HR and Operations.
This position will work with our Hatchery team, providing training for new team members
90% production floor presences and ensures that safety is a condition and is responsible for compliance and enforcement of all safety directives.
Demonstrate hands on training techniques for new hires during the onboarding period (45-60 days) and make recommendations to the Onboarding Supervisor about individual training needs, concerns, and special circumstances. Onboarding Coordinators spend their time on the production floor with the new hires.
Collaborate with Human Resources and Operations to ensure new hires have proper training for successful onboarding.
Develop and promote positive working relationships between new hires, peers, and leaders.
All other duties as assigned.
Previous training experience.
Must be able to effectively communicate with others, Bilingual is a plus.
Must be able to work in hot/cold areas, stand for long periods of time, and know how to perform all jobs in the area. Successful candidates spend their time on the production floor.

Able to work independently.
Must be willing to work in a industrial environment.
High School Diploma/GED
