Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking an Operations Management Support professional in Sumter, South Carolina. The role oversees daily live hang operations on the production floor, ensuring targets, safety, quality and efficiency are met while coordinating team duties and responding to real-time issues.

The position emphasizes leadership of 20+ employees, shift work (2nd shift), and collaboration across departments to drive improvements and cost savings in a high-volume poultry production facility.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in related field preferred.

Operations Management SupportSumter,South Carolina

In this key role, you'll serve as the frontline leader overseeing the daily live hang operations within our poultry production facility. You'll ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards for safety, quality assurance , and efficiency. Based primarily on the production floor, you'll coordinate team du ties, monitor equipment and workflow, and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations. The role also requires agility to respond to operational issues in real time, helping maintain a productive and well-functioning workplace. *** Must be willing to work 2nd shift!

What You’ll Need

• Education: High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in related field preferred.
• Experience: 1 or more years of previous s upervisory experience with leadership skills of 20 + employees preferred. P oultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Skills: Effective communication both orally and in writing, capable of independent decision making, must have basic computer knowledge, ability to manage multiple priorities.
