Job summary

UPS is seeking a Permanent, in-person Onboarding Coordinator in Houston, TX, to manage pre-boarding tasks, I-9 validation, and compliance for new hires. The role supports external partnerships and ensures efficient onboarding and accurate hiring ratios.

Travel to multiple locations may be required as part of coordinating driver-related processes. The ideal candidate will have strong time management and communication skills, experience with Microsoft Office, and a relevant HR background.

Qualifications

• Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote)

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-boarding/onboarding activities and programs (e.g., I-9, background checks, scheduling, biometrics)
• Posts, collects, and audits bid lists, ensures accurate hiring ratio, manages Driver Qualification Files (DQF) and related checks for feeders/drivers
• Keeps internal candidate notes on bid files and coordinates drug screening for drivers
• Assists with internal driver lists and scheduling as needed
