Job summary

Scylla AG is seeking a Receptionist to join its luxury river cruise team aboard ships in Europe. You will greet guests, manage reception, handle inquiries, check in/out, and coordinate shop services to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel industry and/or river cruise ships preferred.
• Excellent English skills (written & verbal).
• Strong communication and guest-service orientation.
• Organized, detail-oriented and capable under pressure.

• Flexible and culturally aware with good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet, welcome and direct guests and visitors in-person and on the phone.
• Check in / check out guests and manage reception operations.
• Answering and transferring phone calls; forward guest information.
• Sales of shop articles; handle cash payments as needed.
• Provide internet access and on-board guest support.
• Assist with menus, wake-up calls and guest requests as required.
• Oversee on-board shop services and inventories as needed.
