Job summary

ISMIRA Agency is actively recruiting for a 1st Receptionist for Scylla AG, a premier river cruise line. You are the first contact for guests and manage the onboard boutique, upholding Scylla's hospitality standards.

You will oversee the reception area and shop, support the hotel manager, and ensure smooth guest experiences across European rivers on a seasonal contract March–November with renewals possible.

Qualifications

• Excellent English skills (written & verbal) and strong communication.
• Outstanding verbal, listening and telephone abilities.
• Organized, stress-resistant and team oriented.
• Experience in hotels or river cruise reception is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel/Word/PPT and basic IT.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reception area and onboard boutique according to Scylla standards.
• Handle daily check-ins/check-outs and guest greetings.
• Assist hotel manager with admin tasks and orders for reception and boutique.
• Ensure safety guidelines and inventory processes are followed.
• Coordinate excursions and in-port manning as required.
