American Cruise Lines is seeking Line Cooks for the 2026 season on America’s rivers. You will join our shipboard culinary team to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner using fresh ingredients and regional specialties.

Work onboard with a supportive culinary team; expect long days, a dynamic dining program, and the opportunity to live and work at sea while delivering first-class meals to guests.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in full-service resort, hotel, country club or full-service restaurant.
• Experience cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Familiar with food safety standards.
• Problem solving, organizational, and self-motivation skills.
• Effective leadership and time management.
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to complete a criminal background check.
• TWIC credential.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

Responsabilidades

• Work directly with the Executive Chef/Sous Chef to produce diversified meals for guests based on fresh ingredients.
• Organize workload in the kitchen for efficient processes.
• Produce high-quality dishes following established menus.
• Adhere to guests' dietary requests.
• Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during work hours.
• Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are top priorities throughout all stages of preparation.
• Ensure meals are prepared quickly and deliciously.
• Enforce food and safety standards.
• Communicate with coworkers to coordinate meal services.
