Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking Line Cooks to join our shipboard team for the 2026 season aboard America’s rivers. You will collaborate with the Executive/Sous Chef to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner using fresh ingredients while ensuring top-notch dining experiences for guests.

Role involves living onboard, following safety standards, and coordinating with the culinary team to maintain efficient kitchen operations and guest satisfaction aboard our vessels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in full-service settings.
• Experience cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Familiar with food safety standards.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• TWIC credential required.

Responsibilities

• Work with Executive/Sous Chef to produce diversified meals using fresh ingredients.
• Organize workload to ensure efficient kitchen processes.
• Prepare high-quality dishes following established menu choices.
• Adhere to guests' dietary requests.
• Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during work hours.
• Ensure hygiene and food safety standards throughout all stages of preparation.
• Prepare meals quickly and deliciously, meeting service expectations.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers for smooth meal service.
