Job summary

Margaritaville at Sea is seeking an Assistant IT Manager to oversee level 1 IT support aboard our cruise ships. You will install and configure PC hardware, upgrade equipment, and support mobile devices, working closely with the IT Manager to keep systems running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a IT-related bachelor's degree and CompTIA A+ certification with 2+ years in user support. English proficiency required; additional languages are a plus. The role includes travel and life at sea benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field; computer science/IS preferred.
• CompTIA A+ 220-801 certification or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of user support and hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Good command of English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide level 1 IT support onboard ship.
• Install/configure PC hardware; upgrade hardware; support mobile devices.
• Maintain and monitor network, servers, and communications (V-Sat, Ethernet, Wi-Fi).
• Manage Fidelio PMS, Micros POS, and guest/crew IT provisioning.
• Support Exchange/Office 365 and Cisco IP phones.
• Ensure uptime of TV system (ADE/BDE) and onboard IT services.
