Job summary

City Cruises, part of Hornblower Group, seeks a friendly Server to deliver hospitality aboard our Coast Guard–inspected vessel in the United States. You will greet guests, take orders, and serve meals and beverages, contributing to a safe, enjoyable onboard experience.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent and ideally one year of high-volume restaurant experience. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting, and availability nights, weekends and major holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience in high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift furniture and other heavy items.
• Must be available for nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers onboard.
• Greet guests and serve food and beverages in a timely fashion.
• Accurately take orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of all dining areas and service stations.
• Assist with seating guests and managing service flow.
• Handle payments from guests for onboard purchases.
• Provide information about menus, cruise routes and points of interest.
