Job summary

Hornblower Group, a leader in experiential travel, seeks an experienced Restaurant Manager to direct dining cabin and galley operations aboard a Coast Guard‑inspected vessel. You will ensure high-quality food and drinks, hospitable service, and profitable operations on tight schedules.

You will rotate as shift manager, supervise staff, and coordinate with marine, sales, and administration teams. Strong leadership and hospitality focus are essential for guest satisfaction and crew effectiveness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of five years of total restaurant experience in a full-service, high-volume environment.
• Must have supervisory experience.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• RAMP Certification required for alcohol service.
• SERV Safe Certification required by health department.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and shipmates.
• Rotate as shift manager and supervise staff and service quality.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs and special requests.
• Conduct pre-cruise meetings and communicate cruise details to employees.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards on board.
• Develop and execute programs to improve service and product quality.
• Lead by example with professionalism and integrity.
• Assist in hiring, training, and development of shipmates.
