Job summary

Hornblower Group’s City Cruises division seeks a Restaurant Supervisor to lead the front-of-house aboard our passenger vessel, delivering memorable dining experiences while maintaining safety and guest satisfaction. You will coach staff, oversee service, monitor guests feedback, and collaborate with management to improve performance and profitability.

Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays is required.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of guest service supervisory experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
SERV Safe and TIPS certifications preferred/required for the role.
Experience with POS systems and restaurant technology.
Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and support front-of-house staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Oversee food and beverage service while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction standards.
Train and develop team members on exceptional service, cleanliness, and safety practices.
Monitor sales, inventory, guest feedback, and operational performance.
Resolve guest concerns professionally and ensure a positive experience.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
Partner with management to improve service, performance, and profitability.
Assist with recruiting and onboarding new team members.
Support daily cruise execution and complete additional duties as assigned.
