Job summary

Pee Dee RTA (PDRTA) is seeking a Dispatcher to ensure on-time delivery of fixed route and paratransit services. The role monitors schedule adherence, responds to calls, and informs management of issues while driving revenue service vehicles when needed.

A CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement is required, along with DOT drug screening and background checks. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, and 1–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to three years related experience and/or training.
• CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement required.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time delivery of fixed route and paratransit services.
• Monitor service integrity and schedule adherence; address interruptions promptly.
• Respond to calls and inform management of problems and complaints.
• Drive revenue service vehicles when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service to PDRTA passengers and customers.
