Job summary

Flochamber is seeking a qualified individual to assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operations in Florence, South Carolina. The role involves providing leadership to drivers and support staff, scheduling, training, and compliance.

Job description

Assists the Operations Manager with oversight of daily operations. This position provides leadership to drivers and support staff, assists in scheduling, training, and compliance, and serves as a point of contact for operational issues. Administers training programs for the operational personnel and coordinates the design, implementation, and maintenance of safety programs, policies, and procedures.

Education and/or Experience

• Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school.
• Two years related work experience or equivalent experience may be considered.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B with Passenger Endorsement (preferred) or willing to obtain.
• In-house CDL training and testing available.

Other Requirements

• Must receive a negative result from a DOT pre‑employment drug screen.
• Must pass a DOT pre‑employment physical.
• Occasional travel to other PDRTA offices is required.
• Occasional local and overnight out‑of‑town travel is required.
• Utilize company cell phone and laptop for communication outside of normal office hours.
