Aerotek is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to plan, schedule, and coordinate outbound transportation ensuring on‑time delivery and cost efficiency. The role requires strong liaison with warehouse teams, carriers, and internal stakeholders to maintain smooth shipping operations.

Responsibilities include monitoring shipments, addressing delays, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and internal policies. Proactive communication and problem solving are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in transportation, shipping, or logistics preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and email.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, or TMS systems preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple shipments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with carriers and internal teams.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule outbound deliveries of finished goods to customers, distribution centers, and warehouses in line with production schedules and commitments.
• Monitor shipment status and address delays, service failures, or capacity constraints.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with carriers and transportation providers and secure capacity.
• Ensure all shipments comply with customer requirements, regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with warehouse operations to support accurate order fulfillment and on‑time shipments.
