Job summary

Syfan Logistics is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to work with the operations team, communicating with carriers and customers to guarantee on-time service for all shipments. You will build and maintain strong relationships with customers and carriers while using the company’s transportation management systems and related logistics technologies.

The role emphasizes customer service excellence, computer proficiency, and the ability to adapt to changing load situations.

Qualifications

Solid customer service and interpersonal skills for handling carrier/customer situations professionally.
Basic computer proficiency for using Microsoft Office, TMS, customer portals, and keyboard skills.
Excellent organizational, time management, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Dispatch carriers by phone and computer in a professional manner.
Manage load information including pickup and delivery times in logistics software.
Track and communicate driver movements to shippers and receivers.
Direct and resolve inbound calls from drivers and carriers for status updates.
Update Carrier Sales and Customer Sales Reps on delays or issues as needed.
Validate load data prior to delivery and address discrepancies with documentation.
Document communications with carriers and customers in TMS logs.
Identify load issues proactively and help implement solutions with team.
