Job summary

Apex Clean Energy seeks a seasoned Facility Manager to oversee daily operations of a wind farm near Bellevue, Ohio. You will serve as the on-site point of contact, coordinating maintenance, safety, and reliability while liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years in wind/utility operations, NFPA 70E, and strong leadership. This is a full-time on-site position offering growth in a mission-driven renewable energy company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of wind site manager experience.
• At least 2 years of substation, collection, transmission equipment operation and maintenance experience.
• NFPA 70E accredited.

Responsibilities

• Champion a strong safety culture and comply with site health and safety plans.
• Provide on-site supervision for wind farm operations and act as principal on-site contact.
• Lead safety programs and enable teammates to work safely and stop work when required.
• Coordinate operations and maintenance activities for balance of plant assets within approved guidelines.
• Oversee subcontractors and external service providers for site services and maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain detailed operations logs and routine reporting.
