Job summary

Simon & Schuster US is seeking a Warehouse Technology Support Specialist for our Jackson facility. You will be the on-site IT contact, supporting Windows endpoints, printers, and shared devices, and ensuring smooth packing/shipping workflows.

You will stage and deploy devices, provide initial Windows 11 and MFA support, and collaborate with central IT for escalations. The role is on-site in a warehouse environment with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of hands-on technical support with Windows devices, printers and shared technology.
• Experience with Windows 11, Microsoft 365, MFA, and basic access troubleshooting.
• Basic networking knowledge: identify switches/ports, trace connectivity, console access.
• Ability to work full-time on-site and follow warehouse safety requirements.
• Clear communication and documentation, with ability to collaborate with central IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site technology contact for warehouse leadership and staff.
• Diagnose and repair shared Windows workstations, kiosks, printers, and peripherals.
• Support packing and shipping print workflows and validate outputs.
• Stage and deploy devices for new hires and site projects.
• Provide first-level support for Windows 11, MFA, and shared-device logins; escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with central IT for escalations and asset tracking.
