Job summary

The role requires in-person interaction with doctors, patients and interdisciplinary teams, training and mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Georgia.
• Experience supervising UM staff or RN teams.
• Familiarity with hospital utilization management processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site UM RNs across acute, chronic and long-term care.
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams to determine medical necessity.
• Manage throughput, length of stay, and reimbursement impact.
• Provide training, supervision and coordination of on-site UM staffing.
