Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks an RN Team Leader for on-site Utilization Management to supervise UM staff and collaborate with physicians and the care team. You will ensure coordination across acute, chronic, and long-term patients and oversee throughput, length of stay, and reimbursement accuracy.

You will lead training, supervise staff, and coordinate with managers to align department goals with organizational standards, ensuring compliance with UM processes and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

• GA RN license in good standing.
• Leadership experience in utilization management or hospital case management.
• Strong collaboration with physicians and health care teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care with Manager, Director and Healthcare Team Leaders.
• Oversee daily staffing and work distribution based on demand.
• Monitor clinical and financial outcomes, including denial ratios and QA activities.
• Lead training and orientation of new UM staff and students.
