Job summary

Divine Resource Solutions is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Human Resources Manager on behalf of a client with a unionized workforce. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of combined HR and payroll management experience in a unionized work environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of collective bargaining agreements, union grievance processes, contract interpretation, seniority systems, wage administration, and payroll compliance for union employees.
• Working knowledge of payroll processes, employee benefits, employment practices, and applicable labor regulations.
• Experience supporting both union and non-union employee populations.
• Strong communication, organization, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability and willingness to work on-site in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly payroll submissions and review payroll reports for accuracy.
• Serve as the primary payroll contact for employees and management.
• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports as required.
• Oversee payroll processing for union and non-union employees, including wage rates, overtime, shift premiums, union dues, benefits, and other contractually required payments.
• Maintain payroll compliance through audits, reporting, reconciliations, and coordination with union representatives and benefit providers.
• Manage employee onboarding, personnel records, and HR documentation.
• Support recruiting, hiring, employee development, performance management, and offboarding activities.
• Answer employee questions regarding policies, payroll, and benefits.
• Partner with managers and union representatives on employee-relations matters, grievances, disciplinary actions, and contract compliance.
• Support workforce planning and maintain accurate, confidential employee records.
• Coordinate benefit enrollments, qualifying life events, open enrollment activities, and employee communications.
• Reconcile benefit invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws, labor laws, union agreements, and company policies.
• Manage I-9 documentation, unemployment claims, personnel-file requests, and audit support.
• Support workers’ compensation administration and related reporting requirements.
• Maintain accurate employee data within HR and payroll systems.
• Generate HR, payroll, and workforce reports as requested.
